York Rescue Boat is an independent lifeboat and search and rescue team based in York, North Yorkshire. 

Our team of volunteers work to save lives and keep people safe on the Rivers Ouse and Foss, supporting the emergency services and, uniquely, patrolling the rivers at high-risk times.

All money donated to York Rescue Boat goes straight back into equipping our team, continuing our work and funding our youth education program.

Bag Books publish multi-sensory stories for people with learning disabilities. 

We enhance lives by promoting inclusion within communities, providing engaging storytelling sessions, and equipping teams with specialist sensory training across the UK.

Donations help us to continue to encourage disability inclusion within communities, generate positive impact, and bring the joy of storytelling to individuals across the world.

Skippko is a longstanding arts charity that brings artists to work with vulnerable people in their homes and communities across Northern England.

We work with disadvantaged communities in urban areas of deprivation, need and hardship - a situation exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Increasingly our work is created in collaboration with community organisations such as those providing support for:

• older people
• individual loneliness and isolation
• women’s health, and
• personal mental health and wellbeing
